WMC Charcuterie Color Challenge:
Monday 3/18 7:00 American Legion
We are just 1 week away from our first ever WMC Charcuterie Color Challenge and you can just feel the excitement in the air! The Board (no pun intended) hammered out the rules and regulations just last night at our board meeting…
1. You have already been assigned to teams and your colors were randomly chosen for you.
2. You should be coordinating with your team on who is bringing what to the competition.
3. You will come to the meeting, which starts at 7:00, next Monday 3/18, at the American Legion, and sit at a table with your team. There are 8 teams, btw.
4. You will politely wait and listen to opening announcements… you will not be rustling foil and wrappers, cutting things, arranging do-dads and decorations during announcements. Please.
5. This is not a timed competition and you should have plenty of time to assemble your beautiful boards.
6. You may not include any alcohol (no jello shots) on your board per American Legion policy.
7. Once your board is assembled at the end of your table, each team will roam the room, judging and giving marks to the other teams. Your team will be given a scorecard to fill out (one per team). You will be judging on 4 criteria:
a. Use of Color
b. Presentation
c. Creativity
d. Variety
Your team will come to a consensus on the best board for each criteria (can be different boards for each criteria). You may not pick your own.
8. Scores will be tallied up and the team that gets the most votes wins. In case of a tie, we will draw a team out of a hat.
9. The winning team will receive a prize.
10. We will all be winners because once the voting is done, we will mingle and enjoy each other’s creations!
